CONCORD — The new owners of a 59-acre former U.S. Coast Guard property want to transform the military housing there into two modern residential villages, a project the City Council said during a recent study session it would like to see include more housing.
Developers Eddie Haddid and Georges Maalouf plan to renovate the cluster of vacant military buildings to create 286 new homes — 176 apartments, 80 duplex-style units and 30 four-bedroom townhouses.
