A San Jose man has drowned at Lake Berryessa, the Bay Area’s largest reservoir, the Napa County Sheriff’s Department reported Saturday.

Police identified the victim as Billy Dy, 22. On Friday afternoon at 4:55 p.m., Dy’s friends called 911 and reported that he was drowning in the Pleasure Cove Marina, on the lake’s south shore.
