SAN JOSE – A man killed in a shooting in San Jose last week has been identified as Marco Santos Alvarez, 33, of San Jose, according to the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office.

The shooting was reported on the 4100 block of The Woods Drive at about 7:45 p.m. on June 4. Officers arrived to find Alvarez suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
