SAN JOSE — A Bay Area real estate firm has begun quietly to assemble several parcels in San Jose that could be fused together to create a big redevelopment site, Santa Clara County property records show.

R & C Brown Associates, a South Bay development company, has bought multiple properties in north San Jose, according to public documents filed with county officials on Jan. 12.
