It was the first rainfall the Bay Area has seen in nearly a month. But the storm on Monday night only sprinkled a couple hundredths of an inch of water across the region, with most of the precipitation focused in the Santa Cruz mountains, according to the National Weather Service.
As of Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., 24-hour precipitation totals included: 0.04 inches in downtown San Francisco, 0.06 inches at the Oakland international airport, 0.04 inches in San Jose, 0.04 inches in Mount Tamalpais and 0.11 inches at Ben Lomond.
