Fresh on the heels of delivering the first cars built at its Shanghai Gigafactory, Tesla is looking to set up a new design and research center in China in order to better serve one of the largest markets for its electric cars.

Tesla China, Tesla’s Chinese business, mentioned the plans on its official WeChat account, saying that the company is looking to hire designers and other workers to build “Chinese-style” Tesla vehicles. The location of the facility wasn’t disclosed.
