MONTEREY – A strong storm system is on track to bring widespread rain, gusty winds and cold temperatures to the Bay Area overnight Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
In a briefing, the weather service’s forecast office in Monterey said the system will move from north to south, delivering 1 to 2.5 inches of rain to North Bay and coastal mountain ranges, .5 to 1.25 inches to interior hills and .5 to 1 inch to the rest of the region.
