SAN JOSE – A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run late Wednesday night in East San Jose, authorities said.

The collision was reported about 11:40 p.m. in the 2400 block of Alvin Avenue, near Tully Road, said San Jose police Sgt. Enrique Garcia. The driver allegedly left the scene without stopping to render aid or calling 911.
