Here are five spots you can’t miss, from San Luis Obispo’s all-rosé mobile winery, Malene, to the new Central Coast Brewing digs and Rod & Hammer’s SLO Still, a distillery from the guys behind SLO Brew.
Winemaker Joshua Klapper’s tasting room is tucked in a well-preserved, 100-year-old bungalow on Branch Street in Arroyo Grande. Open since 2017, the stylish space features blue sofas, a subway-tiled fireplace, tasting bar and outdoor patio. Klapper, a former sommelier, crafted his acid-driven wines under the La Fenetre label for more than 10 years.
