A layer of fog has clouded driving visibility across many Bay Area cities early Thursday morning after this week’s rainfall.

Early-morning commuters from San Jose to Hollister to Santa Rosa were hit with visibility of less than half a mile as of about 5:30 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
