PALO ALTO — Vice President Joe Biden used another fundraising swing through the Bay Area on Thursday to respond to criticism from Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, saying his more moderate vision would unite the country and was the path to accomplishing Democrats’ priorities.

In a speech Thursday afternoon to about 70 people in the backyard of a home in Palo Alto’s Crescent Park neighborhood, Biden’s pitch was that he would deliver the change his primary rivals could not, by boosting Democratic candidates in traditionally red states and shepherding progressive bills through Congress.
