Silver Lake Partners, the Menlo Park venture capital giant with more than $43 billion under management, said Monday it will shake up its executive management ranks effective immediately.

According to a statement from Silver Lake, managing partners Egon Durban and Greg Mondre will now serve as co-chief executives of the venture capital firm known for its investments in many well-known technology companies. Both Durban and Mondre have been with Silver Lake since it was founded in 1999. Durban has had a role in leading Silver Lake’s investments in companies such as Skype, and Dell Technologies, which the firm helped take private in 2013, while Mondre led Silver Lake’s investment role in internet domain registry company GoDaddy.
