MONTEREY – A pair of storm systems is expected to bring more widespread rain to the Bay Area this week, according to the National Weather Service forecast office in Monterey.

In a briefing Tuesday, the weather service said the first system would arrive overnight and bring light to moderate rainfall mainly to areas south of San Francisco through midday Wednesday. Up to .25 inches is expected to fall in the South Bay and East Bay.
