SAN JOSE — Santa Clara County’s Social Services Agency on Monday became the latest county department to see employees walk off their jobs in support of a rolling strike that entered its fifth day.

Hundreds of social workers and fellow employees took their turn on the picket line at the agency’s Senter Road campus in San Jose and six other locations in a strike that had affected the county’s public health services, parks, road maintenance, 911 dispatch and other departments last week.
