Pacific Gas & Electric on Monday evening narrowed down the area for a possible power shutoff starting Wednesday.

In the southern Bay Area, the updated notice covers almost 160,000 customers in the counties of San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, Alameda and Contra Costa, shown on the map above.
