Santa Clara County and the union representing 12,000 county employees have returned to the bargaining table following a series of strikes the union suspended last Wednesday in light of PG&E’s planned blackouts.

Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 521 is scheduled to meet with county representatives Tuesday for a second bargaining session since the strike was called on Oct. 2.
