Mark Hurd, who was co-CEO of Oracle and a former chief executive of Hewlett-Packard, has died at age 62.

Hurd took a leave of absence from the tech giant in September for unspecified medical reasons, saying only that he needed to focus on his health. Oracle Chairman Larry Ellison announced Hurd’s death in an online post Friday.
