Federal safety officials say they’re aware of accidents or near accidents involving Tesla’s Smart Summon, and are inviting drivers to continue to report issues.

The Silicon Valley electric-vehicle maker released a software update last week that included expanding the ability for certain Tesla owners to summon their cars — using an app to order the cars to drive themselves to their owners without a human behind the wheel.
