SAN JOSE — A 33-year-old man has been identified as the victim of a shooting in unincorporated East San Jose early Monday, according to the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office.

Joeal Plazola, of San Jose, was found suffering from gunshot wounds just after midnight Monday on Stewart Avenue near Rose Avenue, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.
