SAN JOSE — Authorities have arrested a 21-year-old Santa Clara man on attempted murder and other charges related to a shooting Thursday night near the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library in San Jose.

San Jose police booked Joseph “Joey” Vicencio into the county jail Sunday on five charges, including felony attempted murder and assault with a firearm, and a misdemeanor charge for negligently discharging a firearm, according to a San Jose Police Department news release.
