MOUNTAIN VIEW – An early morning crash killed two people and has blocked northbound traffic on state Highway 85, the California Highway Patrol reports.

A wrong-way driver crashed into an oncoming, southbound vehicle around 1 a.m.Friday near the state Highway 237 exit. One of the vehicles burst into flames. The CHP estimates northbound lanes will be closed until 6 a.m. Drivers should take alternative routes.
