A Chick-fil-A restaurant has opened in South San Jose — sans the controversy surrounding the concession coming to the city’s airport.

The new location, on Blossom Hill Road near Almaden Expressway, is the fourth in the South Bay serving the Atlanta-based chain’s signature chicken sandwiches.
