SAN JOSE — Firefighters are battling a brush fire in South San Jose off Malech and Bailey Road, according to CalFIRE, which has sent tankers and air units to respond to the blaze.

The fire ignited Sunday afternoon in an area with little road access, which means the fire may grow as crews try to respond, according to a CalFIRE representative.
