Two days before Uber is set to go public, the drivers who power its business are protesting and striking around the nation and beyond.
On the East Coast, drivers drove across the Brooklyn Bridge and headed to the New York offices of Uber and its biggest rival, Lyft. Other cities where drivers are protesting include San Diego, Boston, Connecticut, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Some drivers are striking by logging off the app for a couple of hours, while in San Francisco some drivers are planning to strike from noon to midnight.
