A quick-moving storm system is expected to move across the Bay Area on Monday afternoon and drop as much as one-quarter to one-half inch of rain, according to the National Weather Service.

The approaching system is forecast to reach the North Bay around noon Monday and then slowly move south during the afternoon and evening commute, according to the weather service.
