To help bridge the digital divide during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Santa Clara County Library District has added wifi to the parking lots of it branch libraries, including Campbell. In addition, the district has installed wifi on both its bookmobiles to provide internet access to patrons.

“Helping students with distance learning, finding family entertainment, accessing online resources or working remotely in this trying time is hard enough,” County Librarian Jennifer Weeks said in a statement. “People should not have to worry about finding reliable internet access on top of everything else they are juggling right now.
