More lightning could hit Bay Area, prompting ‘ fire weather watch’

As firefighters strain to bring dozens of fires under control, the National Weather Service is warning that an approaching tropical storm may bring more lightning to the area as early as Sunday morning.
The weather service has issued a “fire weather watch” from 11 a.m. Sunday until 11 a.m. Tuesday dude to a weather front that could bring thunderstorms and the risk of dry lightning that could cause more fires.
