The Apple Fire has burned more than 20,000 acres and forced evacuations in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

The wildfire started around 5 p.m. Friday along Oak Glen Road near the community of Cherry Valley. The cause is under investigation, said the report from the San Bernardino National Forest.
