A wildfire near Lake Isabella has burned 4,100 acres and three structures, the Kern County Fire Department said. Hundreds more structures are threatened.

The Stagecoach Fire started around 3:30 p.m. Monday near Caliente Bodfish Road, about 15 miles south of Lake Isabella. The cause is unknown. One home was destroyed in its early hours; another structure was later destroyed and a third damaged.
