HALF MOON BAY — Authorities have named the two deputies who fatally shot a woman who fired at them during a confrontation last week in Half Moon Bay, and released images of the shotgun she was carrying.

San Mateo County Sheriff’s Deputy John Baba, who has been with the sheriff’s office for two years, and Deputy David Dominguez, who has worked as an enforcement deputy for about two years after two years as a county correctional officer, were identified as the officers who shot and killed 56-year-old Sandra Harmon the evening of May 5 near Main Street and Monte Vista Lane.
