SAN JOSE – Two people were injured in separate shootings on Bay Area freeways Tuesday, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The first shooting was reported just after 1 p.m. on northbound Highway 85 at Union Avenue in San Jose, the CHP said in a news release. It appeared to stem from a road-rage incident between the drivers of a gray Pontiac car and a Chevrolet SUV.
