Coronavirus cases in Contra Costa County crossed the 800 mark on Saturday as health officials reported 19 new infections. That’s three more new cases than what was reported Friday.

That brings the county’s total to 805 cases, with 25 deaths, and marks an increase of 56 cases and four deaths since Tuesday. The number of people hospitalized in the county dropped by one Saturday to 31.
