Over 1,300 new people have tested positive for coronavirus and 36 deaths were recorded in California a day after the state topped 21,000 cases.
According to data compiled by this news organization from county health departments throughout California, 630 people with confirmed cases of COVID-19 had died as of Saturday evening.
