Santa Clara County officials said there are now 54 people who have died of coronavirus after reporting three new deaths from the disease on Sunday.

According to the latest data published in the county’s COVID-19 dashboard, officials also reported 55 new confirmed cases of coronavirus for a total of 1,621. As of Sunday, 473 new cases of the virus were reported over the past week in the county.
