A lobotomy works miracles when fighting demons. Slicing them in half does the trick, too. To be honest, pretty much any action in “Doom Eternal” is effective at terminating the minions from hell.
The sequel to the “Doom” reboot in 2016 doesn’t try to reinvent the franchise, but it does a lot to refine the formula that made the previous effort so great. The reboot worked because it focused on aggressive combat. In an age of cover-based shooters, “Doom” (2016) rewarded players who ran around and blasted demons in a ballet of violence.
