New data revealed Thursday shows more than 500 people in Santa Clara County have now tested positive for COVID-19.

The County of Santa Clara Public Health Department said 83 more people tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the total number of positive tests in the county to 542, the most in any Bay Area county. The county also said two more people have died from COVID-19, bringing the countywide death toll to 19.
