Twitter said it has made it mandatory for all of its employees worldwide to work from home as the social-media company has expanded its efforts to try and contain the spread of coronavirus.

Twitter made the new policy effect starting Wednesday. In a company blog post, Jennifer Christie, Twitter’s vice president of people said the the decision was made to because of “a responsibility to support our communities, those who are vulnerable, and the healthcare providers who are on the front lines of this (coronavirus) pandemic.”
