With new cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus confirmed in the East Bay, Contra Costa and Alameda counties are issuing new warnings to the public: cancel gatherings and stay away from others.
In Alameda County, a third person has been confirmed with the coronavirus, officials announced Tuesday, identifying the person only as an “older adult” and the spouse of the county’s second confirmed case, who disembarked from the Grand Princess Cruise ship at an earlier trip between Feb. 11 to 21.
