As six counties around the Bay Area go into a virtual societal lockdown for the next three weeks in an effort to contain the spread of coronavirus, Tesla Chief Executive Elon Musk has reportedly told company employees it is “totally OK” for them to stay home from work and hunker down at home.

Musk also told Tesla employees in a memo that he would be coming to work at Tesla’s offices, and also that he was unaware of any Tesla employee testing positive for coronavirus according to a report from Reuters, which said employees read a copy of the memo over the phone.
