SANTA CLARA COUNTY – The Santa Clara County Public Health Department on Monday afternoon announced an additional 24 cases of COVID-19, bringing the total to 138.

Of that number, 52 are hospitalized, according to the agency. Two people – a woman in her 60s with chronic health conditions and a woman in her 80s – have died after testing positive for the disease.
