San Francisco’s centerpiece museums are the latest to temporarily close doors as new mandates on crowd size and preventative measures to halt the spread of the coronavirus settle in.

The Asian Art Museum, the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco — which includes the de Young Museum and the Legion of Honor — and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art have also closed their doors.
