MILPITAS — An inmate who died in Santa Clara County jail last week has been identified.

Sean Alan Hata, 51, was booked into the Elmwood Correctional Facility in Milpitas on two felony counts on Feb. 21, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Michael Low.
