Bay Area public health officials reported more new coronavirus cases Saturday.

Santa Clara County announced Saturday afternoon that eight residents have tested positive for the illness, bringing to 32 the total number of cases in the county that has been at the center of the Bay Area’s outbreak. Officials did not provide additional information about the new cases Saturday, saying they are still under investigation.
