BERKELEY — The specter of the coronavirus has brought another significant change: In-person classes at UC Berkeley won’t be held on campus until after spring break is over.

In a message sent out to the campus Tuesday afternoon, Chancellor Carol Christ announced that most in-person classes will be suspended starting Tuesday and that the suspension will remain in place through March 29, the last day of the break.
