SAN JOSE — A man surrendered to authorities Wednesday in the slaying of a woman whose body was found a day earlier at an Airbnb rental home in San Jose’s east foothills, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.

Ryoichi Fuseya, 25, a resident of Japan, was accompanied by his attorney when he turned himself in around 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Sheriff’s Office. After he was interrogated by homicide detectives, he was booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on suspicion of murder.
