SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO — A Vallejo man was sentenced to four years in state prison Tuesday for driving the getaway car in a Peninsula armed robbery that involved over $5,000 worth of stolen goods and cash, according to the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office.

One afternoon last March, Eric Hamilton and two other men followed a couple in their 60s home from the Lytton Casino in San Pablo, prosecutors said. As the couple stopped at a Walgreens in the Westborough neighborhood, Hamilton and his accomplices pulled up behind the car and blocked it in.
