Sen. Bernie Sanders has taken a strong lead among California voters, according to a new poll, stretching ahead of his closest competitor by 2 to 1 and priming him to win a majority of California delegates on March 3 primary.

The poll was conducted by UC Berkeley Institute of Governmental Studies for the Los Angeles Times during the course of five days, the Times reported, from Feb. 20 through Tuesday.
