SAN FRANCISCO – A dry cold front will sweep into the Bay Area this weekend, bringing strong winds and the possibility of power outages, according to the National Weather Service.

Winds are expected to develop across the North Bay and East Bay and then spread over the Santa Cruz Mountains and down to the coast before sunrise Sunday, the weather service said in a briefing Friday.
