Facebook said Friday it is has cancelled its annual global marketing summit, which had been scheduled for next month in San Francisco, due to concerns about the spread of coronavirus.
The event, which typically attracts more than 4,000 attendees, had been set for March 9 to March 12 at San Francisco’s Moscone Center. But, Facebook said the continuing spread of coronavirus out from China has created a better-safe-than-sorry situation for the company with regards to its marketing summit.
