Lyft priced its shares at $72 Thursday, the day before the stock of the No. 2 U.S. ride-hailing company is set to make its debut on the Nasdaq Stock Market to kick off this year’s tech IPO bonanza.
That values the nearly 7-year-old San Francisco company at about $24 billion, a fraction of its biggest rival Uber, which is valued at $76 billion and is reportedly looking to go public within a month at a valuation of $120 billion.
